Five Star Local ("we", "us", or "our") operates fivestarlocal.co and Rapid Feedback. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. If you disagree, please do not use the site or the product.
We collect what you type in a form: your name, email, business name if you give it, and your message. That includes inquiries we receive from other websites and forms we operate, not only the contact page on this site.
We collect your business name, your name, your email, your Google review link, the words you want in customer emails, and whether you want one reminder. We also keep a record of your trial or paid plan.
You type the customer's name and email, and a short note about the job. We store that so the ask can be sent and so we can show you their reply. If they rate the job, we store the rating and any private comments.
We may get technical data such as IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring URL, and device type. That is normal for hosting a website.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information for someone else's marketing.
You decide who to ask. You are responsible for that list and for following privacy and anti-spam law when you email them. We hold their name, email, and feedback to run the tool for you. If a customer asks about their data, they should start with you. If you ask us to correct or delete a record, we will help.
We do not post Google reviews for anyone. If a customer chooses to leave a Google review, that is between them and Google.
After the 90-day free trial, the paid plan is $49 USD per month. You can cancel anytime. Payments go through Stripe. We see whether you paid. We do not receive or keep your card number.
We use other companies for website hosting, contact forms, taking cards (Stripe), and sending mail from your own Gmail or Outlook. They only get what they need to do that job. Some of them store or process data outside Canada, including the United States.
This marketing site uses what the host needs to show the page. Rapid Feedback may use cookies needed for signup and forms. You can block cookies in your browser. Some pages may then not work.
Contact-form messages: long enough to answer you, then a reasonable time after.
Shop accounts: while you have a trial or paid plan, and a reasonable time after you cancel.
Customer asks and replies: while your account is active, and a reasonable time after. We delete sooner if you ask and the law allows it.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site and Rapid Feedback are for businesses, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think we have, please contact us.
This site may link to Rapid Feedback and to other sites. We also operate other websites and forms. Those are ours even if they are not named on this page. Third-party sites have their own privacy practices.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. If you keep using the site or the product after that, the new policy applies.
